Stage 1 was a sprinters stage with Jonathan Milan taking the honours ahead of Milan Fretin while GC favourite Jan Christen suffered misfortune and crashed.

The second stage went to Jonathan Milan in a bunch sprint again meaning he was able to extend both his lead in the points classification and in the general classification.

Stage 3 was the first stage to shake up the general classification featuring an uphill finish which was won by Yannis Voisard who moved up to first on GC by 4 seconds ahead of Alfonso Eulalio.

Matteo Malucelli of XDS Astana Team was the best of the bunch on stage four winning the stage ahead of Jonathan Milan in the points jersey and shooting up to second in the classification. There were no significant changes in the general classification.

The last stage saw a large shakeup on GC with Jan Christen winning both the stage and the overall classification. He finished ahead of Byron Munton and teammate Igor Arrieta after catching the breakaway.
